Como parte da programação da Mostravídeo Itaú Cultural, acontece dia 13 de outubro, em Curitiba, no Sesc Paço da Liberdade, uma sessão dedicada ao meu trabalho. O programa conta com curadoria de Andre Costa e serão exibidos 11 vídeos, incluindo 3 inéditos..

On October 13, in Curitiba, Brazil, as part of the Mostravídeo Itaú Cultural, happens a screening dedicated to my work. The program is curated by Andre Costa and 11 videos will be will be screened, including the premiere of 3. .

O vídeo “Transcomunicação” foi selecionado para a Mostra Competitiva do 21º Curta Cinema – Festival Internacional de Curtas do Rio de Janeiro. O festival acontece no Rio de Janeiro de 27 de outubro a 06 de novembro

The video “Trascommunication” was selected for the Official Competition at the  21st Curta Cinema – Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival. The festival takes place in Rio de Janeiro, 27 october – 06 november.

O vídeo “Transcomunicação” fez parte da exposição coletiva Now&After, que aconteceu de 14 de julho a 4 de setembro no Moscow Museum of Modern Art, com curadoria de Marina Fomenko.

The video “Trascommunication” was selected for the Now&After exhibition, that took place 14 july – 4 september at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, curated by Marina Fomenko.

«Now&After» is held for the first time and was shown as a curatorial project in the Annual International Exhibition of Young Art “Workshop 20’11″ in Moscow Museum of Modern Art within the period 13 July – 4 September 2011.  A distinctive feature of the Festival is the form of its display. Selected works will be presented during the exhibition as an ongoing unique video installation.  Twenty two artists from Russia, Poland, Germany, France, Brazil, USA, Taiwan, Finland, Lithuania, Sweden, UK, Spain, Italy, Turkey have been selected to participate in “Now&After” festival.  Now and after is both the real world and the world of imagination where our fantasies come to life. Remaining within the terms of “Now & After”, the artists visualize their perception of space and time, experiment with the language of video. They look back, fantasize the future and identify themselves in present.

As part of a special program of FONLAD – Digital Arts Festival , the video “Disforme” will be exhibited at the IV Bienal do Porto Santo, that’ll take place in Porto Santo/Portugal.

The video “Body of Crime” was part of the Paradoxes in Video exhibition, curated by Larry Caveney, that took place at the Garege 4141 Gallery, in San Diego/EUA.

“Paradox” investigates the contradictions between documentary and performance, fact and fiction, order & chaos. What is real and what is staged? The absurdity of real life, the ambiguity of movement and the enigma of space are some of the perceptions raised in “Paradox”. 1500 submissions have been screened and the selection showcase will take place 07/09/2011 from 7pm-9pm. Go ahead and mark it as an international event within global proportions.

Depois de uma estreia no Kunstfilmtag 2010 – UN.SHARPNESS OF THE DOCUMENTARY, em Düsseldorf/Alemanha, o vídeo “Transcomunicação” será apresentado como vídeo instalação no Re-New Digital Arts Festival, em Copenhagen/Dinamarca. O trabalho  ficará em exposição na Universidade Tecnológica de Copenhagen de 16 a 19 de maio, como também na Interactive Media Art Conference, que ocorre no mesmo local e data.

After a premiere at the Kunstfilmtag 2010 – UN.SHARPNESS OF THE DOCUMENTARY, in Düsseldorf/Germany, the video “Transcommunication” will be presented in its installation format at the Re-New Digital Arts Festival, in Copenhagen/Denmark.  The work will be exhibited at the The IT University of Copenhagen.

O vídeo “Corpo Delito” fez parte do programa BRAZIL: RECENT ARTIST VIDEOS no 7th Berlin International Directors Lounge. O programa, com curadoria de Kika Nicolela, foi compreendido por vídeos realizados nos últimos dois anos por relevantes artistas brasileiros.

The video “Body of Crime” was part of the BRAZIL: RECENT ARTIST VIDEOS program at the 7th Berlin International Directors Lounge. The program, curated by Kika Nicolela, was comprised by a selection of videos made during the past two years by relevant Brazilian artists.

O vídeo “Corpo Delito” foi selecionado para a Vidéothèque Éphémère do Videoformes 2011, um dos mais importantes festivais dedicados ao vídeo experimental. Em 2010 o vídeo “Ensaio para um Vídeo Vigilância” foi selecionado para essa mesma categoria.

The video “Body of Crime” has been selected for the Vidéothèque Éphémère at the Videoformes 2011. In 2010, the video “Essay for a Surveillance Video“ was selected for this same category.

Como resultado da residência artística na Casa Tomada (São Paulo), que teve duração de setembro a agosto, será aberta essa semana a exposição Ateliê Aberto #3. A residência contou com a participação de 6 artistas e duas pesquisadoras, como um dos artistas participantes desenvolvi a vídeo instalações “Fábula de um Esquecimento” e o vídeo “Corpo Delito“.

As a result of the art residency in Casa Tomada (São Paulo), which lasted from September to August, this week will open the exhibition Ateliê Aberto # 3. The residency was attended by six artists and two researchers, as one of the participating artists I developed the video installation “Fábula de um Esquecimento” and the video “Corpo Delito“.
